Today St John Rescue, Inc and Help.NGO‘s Global DIRT team began an island-wide canvassing project, door to door, of every home on the island to assess the immediate needs of families and homes across the island using coordinates and plotting over land parcel data. This project is a major undertaking that will be useful not only in the relief and rebuilding effort, but also will be a critical tool available to first responders and emergency services for years to come. We have had a tremendous amount of support and partnership with organizations in St. John, and it would not be possible without their involvement which will help make this project a success.
